Food and beverages
Aldeburgh's oldest hotel situated opposite the beach. Restaurant 1563, named after the year the hotel was built, with its fine oak panelled walls and a roaring log fire in the winter, offers elegant and informal dining. Local seafood dishes are a speciality together with traditional Sunday roast lunches. For a lighter bite, try the bar. All dishes are freshly prepared using the best in local produce. Open for lunch and dinner. Vegetarian dishes are available as are special dietary dishes by prior arrangement. A wide range of specially selected wines from local brewers Adnams.
