You can stroll along the banks of the River Nent, saunter round the cobbled lanes of nearby Alston, or walk up to several vantage points, where the whole valley is spread out below you.
Hotel information
Nent Hall has recently completed an extensive million pound renovation which included all of the public spaces and bedrooms. The hotel has also installed a brand new state-of -the-art heating and hot water system (completed in August 2006).The restaurant is open to residents and non-residents from Monday to Saturday, and the head chef serves an extensive table d’hôte menu which changes each night. The menu is produced from excellent produce, most of which is sourced locally.
The Coach House Inn offers a very different type of food which consists of traditional English fayre and an excellent grill menu, though still cooked by our rosette standard chefs. This menu changes seasonally to suit the availability of good seasonal ingredients.
Room information
All of the rooms are non-smoking and have tv/dvd, hostess tray and all of the usual hotel amenities. All rooms are en suite.Laundry and ironing facilities are available on request from reception.

Tourists information
From A1 (junction 58) onto the A68, then the A689, Nent Hall is two miles past Nent Head on the left. Leave th M6 at Penrith onto the A686 to Alston, then the A689, Nent Hall is 1.5 miles on the right.Cancellation policy
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, a fixed amount of GBP 50.00 will be charged.If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
