From the M6 South (London, Birmingham) Exit M6 J19 (Knutsford) at the roundabout, take 3rd exit A556 (Manchester). Follow A556 for 4 miles to roundabout, take 3rd exit (Manchester) which leads onto the A5103. Follow the dual carriageway for 7 miles and signs for city centre. At the roundabout take 2nd exit following the signs for GMEX which leads you onto Medlock Street. Take 2nd lights right onto Great Bridgewater Street (by the side of Bridgewater Hall), go through next lights (McDonalds on right) into Portland Street, go through 2 sets of lights, take 2nd left into Charlotte Street (opposite Yates Wine Lodge)*, 2nd right into George Street, at the end of George Street, turn right into York Street. The hotel is 100 yards on the left (up spiral ramp).From the M61 North (Preston)
Exit M6 J30 (Manchester) onto the M61. Exit at J2 onto A580 which leads onto the A6. Follow the A6 for approx. 5 miles and go through lights showing signs for Trinity Way. At next lights turn into New Bailey Street, at 5th lights turn left into Portland Street. Go through 1st lights, take 2nd left into Charlotte Street and follow directions as above*.
From the M62 West (Liverpool)
Exit J12 onto M602 and get into A57 lane for Manchester. Follow until Harry Ramsden's on the right at lights, turn left into Water Street. Continue past the Victoria & Albert Hotel, take next right into Quay Street, continue until Crowne Plaza Hotel is on the right. Go through lights, at next lights, turn left into Portland Street. Go through 2 sets of lights, take 2nd left into Charlotte Street and follow directions as above*.
From the M60 East (Leeds)
Exit M60 J17 (Manchester). Follow A56 (Bury New Road) for about 5 miles. Continue onto Victoria Street which continues onto Deansgate. Kendals department store is on your right and at the next major traffic lights turn left into John Dalton Street, which continues onto Princess Street. At the 3rd set of traffic lights turn left into Portland Street. Go over the 1st set of traffic lights and then turn left at the 2nd set of lights(opposite Yates' Wine Lodge) into Charlotte Street. Take the 2nd right into George Street. At the end of George Street turn right into York Street The Jarvis Piccadilly Hotel car-park entrance is approximately 100 yards on your left, up a spiral ramp
From Sheffield or Derbyshire
Take A57 through Glossop or A6 through Stockport to Apollo Theatre, Ardwick. At roundabout follow signs to city centre. At 3rd lights turn left into Fairfield Street, 2nd lights right into Sackville Street, 1st lights right into Portland Street, 1st left into Charlotte Street and follow directions as above*.
