The Conrah nestles in 22 acres of beautiful Welsh countryside with panoramic views towards the Merionnydd mountains.The 17 en suite bedrooms offer comfort and tranquility alongside the award-winning restaurant, Harrys, where guests can enjoy a relaxed meal from an imaginative menu, a result of executive chef Harry Hughes's 5 years training with the famous Roux brothers.
The tranquility of the Conrah and the beautiful countryside make it a popular place to stay for a well earned break and it's proximity to Aberystwyth and ease of parking also make it a popular venue for busy professionals.
The hotels newly refurbished conferencing facilities can accommodate for up to 50 delegates, with 2 smaller syndicate rooms also available. These modern facilities are ideal for day to day meetings and larger conferences and events.
The Conrah Hotel is also equipped to hold weddings for up to 250 guests in our impressive Marquee located on our picturesque front lawn. The venue provides the perfect backdrop for the special day

Room information
All of the Conrah's 17 individually styled bedrooms have en suite facilities, tea and coffee making facilities and direct dial telephone.King-size double/ twin rooms are the largest rooms available, many having panoramic views over the hotel grounds towards Cader Idris and the Meirionnydd mountains. Double rooms have a king-size bed.
Standard double/ twin rooms are slightly smaller rooms with a standard 5 foot bed in the double rooms. We have a number of single occupancy rooms available.
Area information
The Conrah is situated in a beautiful part of Mid Wales just south of the busy University town of Aberystwyth. This is an area rich in attractions, activities and things to do. From playing a round of golf or trekking on quad bikes to spotting red kites or dolphins, there is plenty to enjoy for the whole family. There is an abundance of good walking and cycle trails, beautiful beaches and should the weather be inclement a visit to the National Library of Wales or University Arts Centre is a great way to pass time on a rainy day.Tourists information
The Conrah Hotel is situated approximately three miles south of the University town of Aberystwyth on the A487. A location map is available in our photo gallery.The hotel is a ten minute taxi drive from Aberystwyth main line railway station and Traveline Cymru provides information about public transport in Wales.
Remarks
Conrah reception desk is available between 8am and 11pm, seven days a week. We would request guests who wish to arrive later than 11pm, to contact us in advance.The hotel accepts Visa and Mastercard credit cards (not American Express or Diners cards) plus Maestro, Solo and other debit cards.
Cancellation policy
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: Children cannot be accommodated at the hotel.
There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
