Beginning life as a coaching inn in the late 17th century, this traditional, recently refurbished town house hotel is situated in the heart of Nottingham's Lace Market district.

The Comfort Hotel Nottingham is perfectly located in the heart of Nottingham city centre, close to many attractions. It provides affordable comfort and an ideal base for discovering the shops and the city’s nightlife.

The building was the first hotel in Nottingham, and welcomed a number of well-known names from the past; Charles Dickens was a regular guest.

Comfort Hotel Nottingham was recently renovated with up-to-the-moment amenities for business and leisure guests, but has a rich history as the first hotel in Nottingham.

Business facilities include a conference suite for 200 people.

Area information

The hotel is walking distance from the Lace Market, the National Arena and National Ice Centre (the UK’s first twin Olympic-sized ice rink). Comfort Hotel Nottingham is also handy for shopping as well as for the Theatre Royal and the bars and restaurants that make up Nottingham’s attractive nightlife. The hotel is very well located for the East Midlands Airport as well as Nottingham train station.

Recommended parking is at Stoney Street car park. Guests receive discounted rates - your ticket will be validated by a member of the reception team.

Tourists information

By Car
From the junction 25 exit of the M1:
- Follow the A52, to Trent bridge.
- Follow A60 (Mansfield) to the BBC roundabout, then take the first exit after the Shell garage.
- You will need to take your 2nd left onto Hollowstone Road.
- Continue forward to Fletcher Gate, turn right and continue 100 yards to a right-hand turning: this is the road for Stoney Street car park (recommended parking for the hotel).

From the junction 24 exit of the M1:
- Follow Wilford Street to the Evening Post building on the right-hand side.
- Turn right onto Canal Street, then turn left at the traffic lights.
- Move into the right-hand lane and turn onto Colin Street.
- Move into the left-hand lane and turn left onto Middle Hill, following signs for the lace market and parking.
- The car park we recommend is Stoney Street. The entrance is at the top of Fletcher Gate Hill, the 3rd right-hand turning.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 10 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged GBP 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
